The Finance module allows the user the ability to manage grant funding, cash flow, rebate contracts and invoicing, to review and monitor the program activities, and ultimately, to create the FNS-798 and other monitoring and program administration reports.
Prior to using the Finance Module in HANDS
• The eWIC Data checkbox must be selected on the State Configuration Settings under Sys Admin/System Administration. It has become necessary for the finance module to be configured to use eWIC issuance and redemption data.
• The Finance Base Tables under Sys Admin must be personalized.
• The Federal Fiscal Year must be created in Annual Financial Factors under Grants / Cash Flow module.
• The Annual Budget must be created in Annual Budget under FNS 798 module.
